Questions

Is Highvale free?

Yes. Highvale is free to play in your browser, with no account or sign-up.

Do I need to download anything?

No. Open playhighvale.com and the game starts in the browser. On a phone or tablet you can add it to your home screen to open it full screen.

Which browsers and devices does it run on?

Highvale draws with WebGPU. Play in the newest Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on a desktop or laptop whose graphics support WebGPU, in Safari on an iPhone or iPad with iOS 26, or in Chrome on a recent Android phone.

Does it save my worlds?

Yes. Each world saves as you play, in your browser on that device, and you can keep several. Clearing the site's data in your browser deletes them, as can Safari after weeks without a visit.

Survival or creative?

Both: you pick the mode for each new world. In survival you gather, craft, eat and stay alive; in creative you fly, break blocks at once and build with every block.

What are the controls?

On a computer: W A S D to move, the mouse to look, left click to break, right click to place, Space to jump, E for the inventory and Esc to pause; in creative, double-tap Space to fly. On a phone or tablet: a stick under your left thumb, drag to look, tap to place, hold to break, and buttons to jump and sneak.
